PINTO Hinged Neoprene

The most popular of the hinged range. This high quality neoprene sleeve, knee support brace has many features found in the Mustang range. Although shorter and slimmer overall, the Pinto offers a high degree of lateral support, as well as excellent torsional stability.

Available in 2 neoprene versions, Standard or Floprene®. Overall length is just 12ins (30cm), a slimmer lightweight design weighs just 400 gms (approx) Fitted with 2 adjusting straps allowing precise individual adjustment.

Unique self-centring hinges although smaller, these nylon composite hinges offer all the functionality as those of the Mustang brace. Easily worn under clothing and designed to provide protection and prevent injury during active / extreme sports. Also helps to protect old injuries.

The Pinto brace is excellent for the support of mild instabilities of the knee, for situations of mild *ACL, *PCL instability and *LCL or *MCL tears. The added benefit of this particular brace is that it can provide support to users with patella (knee cap) problems providing extra control of the knee due to the open patella design. Unlike many other support braces available at present, the Pinto has removable hinges and thus can be used not only as a stand alone knee brace, but with the advantage of being used as a compressive support with the hinges removed. The Pinto is ideal for situations where some control of the knee is required against lateral, rotational and hyperextension.
